The problem

Most factories at the ground floor of manufacturing run on software that stopped being maintained a decade ago, or on paper and memory. Material leaves the store on trust instead of against what the order needs, and the shrinkage hides in the gap. Piece-rate wages are argued over every week because there is no agreed rate chart. Nobody can say where an order actually is on the floor. And the software itself cannot be changed, because the original vendor is gone and the source is lost. One shared login does everything, so nothing is traceable to a person.

The approach: make the factory work to the software

Command Center ERP rebuilds the whole manufacturing cycle as one system, and turns a general manager’s operating discipline into gates that cannot be skipped.

• No PO, no goods; no issue without a BOM. Material is received against a purchase order and issued only against the order’s bill of materials. What is not on the recipe cannot leave the store.
• Every design, recipe and job carries a photo and a QR code. The worker sees the exact shoe to make, and scans the job card at each stage — cutting, closing, lasting, finishing, packing.
• A real-time floor. An andon board shows work-in-progress per stage, cycle time and the current bottleneck, updated as work is scanned in.
• GST built in. Order pricing and an HSN rate table produce tax invoices with the correct CGST/SGST or IGST split, straight from what shipped.

Wages add up on their own from the rate for each completed job, so a payout is a number, not a negotiation.

Security the old system never had

The legacy system’s worst liability was its security: a shared database login sitting on every machine, and access checked only by greying out buttons. Command Center replaces that with individual sign-in and two-factor for managers, role checks enforced on the server, and an append-only audit trail that even the system cannot edit or delete. It runs on the same security-first platform pattern the lab runs itself.

In production

Command Center ERP was forged on a live footwear factory floor and pilots there now, running in parallel with the factory’s existing system on a nightly copy of its data. It reads the real, fresh data and writes only its own new records, so it can prove its numbers before anyone depends on it. Cut-over is a deliberate, planned step, not a leap.

Where it is going

Live piloting and in active development. Current work is the issuance layer: GST e-invoicing with IRN and e-way bills at cut-over, and per-contractor payout built on top of the wages the job cards already compute.
